Caramelicious Strain Review

Why am I writing this?

I recently got my hands on a new strain, one that I hadn't heard of before, and I enjoyed it so much that I felt like i had to write this post. The strain is Caramelicious and it is marvelous. It's not perfect, and it's not even my favorite strain, but to this date I think that its the most distinctive and delicious strain of Cannabis i've ever consumed.

So What's so Great About It?

What makes smoking this strain so delightful is the fact that it is unlike any other strain I have smoked. The buds are dense and sticky and when you smoke it it seems like the Cannabis has been coated in syrup. It's a full bodied rich flavor that reminds me of a late season Ice Wine. The smell is deeply fruity with hints of mango and the buds are veined with vibrant orange hairs. It feels like desert in my mouth- like a much needed nightcap.

Also, the high is very enjoyable. Caramelicious is a hybrid, being 65% Indica and 35% Sativa, and the high feels as such. There is a good mix of a cerebral high along with a nice body high that really helps with pain relief. While I am not a doctor and would never recommend a drug to anyone, for me this strain would serve excellent for general pain relief and stress. It is also very strong with THC levels of 21%. In short, it gets you high. The first night I smoked it in my water pipe and it absolutely destroyed me-in the best of ways. I smoked close to a gram and by the end of the night I was having both auditory and visual hallucinations, both of which were enjoyable. At first the auditory hallucinations scared me- it was like getting hit with pulse waves in my ear drums. But then it was relaxing, like being patted on the back. I have a huge sleeping problem and this made me sleep like a baby.

Is it Perfect?

No. And there's only one reason why. The taste is almost too rich! It's delicious no doubt. But every time you take a hit it's like stuffing an entire cheesecake down your throat. While enjoyable at first I don't see this strain as one of those every day type strains. I'd use it more as a special occasion thing, like a dessert smoke after Thanksgiving dinner.

So What's this mean for you?

If you get a chance to get your hands on some of this then I would highly recommend it. Smoking it's a great experience but the richness of the taste makes smoking it a little tough. Also it's not always the smoothest of smokes and was a little rough at times. I would recommend just getting a small amount because if you can't handle smoking it that frequently you probably don't want to be stuck with an ounce of it. I will be posting a video review later on in the week on myYoutube Channel and Twitter. I'm doing that because I want everyone to be able to see how nice this strain looks. Be looking for those videos and thanks for reading.
